iYOUTH ART SERIES

iYouth Art Series

The iYouth Art Series is an art event hosted by Suitlandfestfest CDC 501c3 & Black Women Connexting Communities. This event displays artwork created by youth in both a virtual & in-person exhibition. It’s a great way to showcase the talent of local artists and to give them a platform to share their work with the community. It is open to young artists between the ages 6-13 years old in Prince George’s County, MD.

The iYouth Art Series’ purpose is to inspire young people to create art. It also serves as a way to connect young artists with other artists & with art lovers from all over the world.

The art that is submitted to the exhibit can be in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, digital art, and video. The art can be abstract or figurative. Art themes are chosen by art directors in the program.

Benefits of the this youth art exhibit:

● provides a platform for young artists to share their work with the world.
● inspire other young people to create art.
● connects young artists with other artists and with art lovers from all over the
world.
● promotes diversity in art.
● educates the public about the importance of art education .
