A recap of the October 2024 Spooktacular Candyland Trunk or Treat
S/O to the community for coming together for a truly magical Spooktacular Candyland Trunk or Treat event!
This past Saturday, we had an incredible time celebrating Halloween with our community at the Spooktacular Candyland Trunk or Treat! With over 110 parents and kids in attendance, the day was filled with laughter, games, and plenty of sweet treats. Seeing families come together and enjoy the festivities was truly heartwarming. We couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who made this event a success, especially our amazing volunteers and sponsors.
What Made This Event So Special?
Decorated Trunks & Santa’s Surprise
The themed trunks were definitely a fan favorite, with decorations ranging from spooky to sweet. But the showstopper was the "Letters to Santa" trunk, bringing a little holiday magic to Halloween! Kids and parents loved the creativity and festive spirit everyone brought.
The Hayride Adventure
The Hayride was in high demand, taking families on fun trips three times per hour around the event. With hay bales and fall decorations, it was the perfect autumn experience.
Games & Activities
The kids had a blast with Halloween-themed games, like musical chairs and other classic favorites. Plus, the activity worksheets were a hit, keeping little hands busy with puzzles, coloring pages, and crafts that matched the Halloween spirit.
Snack Hut Treats
The snack hut was packed with goodies – from cupcakes to cookies, chips, fruit snacks, and more! Each snack was a huge hit, with kids and parents enjoying treats between activities.
Costume Parade
Our costume parade was a fun and lively highlight, with over 10 kids showing off their spooky, cute, and funny costumes. It was a joy to see their creativity and confidence!
Candy Scavenger Hunt
With candy stations spread all over the event area, our candy scavenger hunt kept the kids moving and searching for treats. It was a perfect way to keep the Halloween spirit alive, and every child went home with plenty of sweets!
