Reginald M. Harrod Community Day of Service

The Reginald M. Harrod Community Day of Service is an annual volunteer initiative dedicated to honoring the life, vision, and community impact of Reginald M. Harrod. Through hands-on service projects, community partnerships, and fellowship, participants will work together to strengthen resources that directly benefit local families and residents.

For 2026, volunteers will focus on transforming and organizing the new A Basket of Cheer storage and pantry/donation facility located within St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. This effort will create a clean, safe, and efficient space for storing food, clothing, toiletries, and other essential items that support community outreach efforts throughout the year.

The event will conclude with a community cookout celebrating volunteers, community partners, church members, and families.
